Good morning, MSBC; AND for any Others who wish to worship at Murray Street.
And it is a good morning - a very good morning! Are you ready for some good news?
After a little bit of confusion yesterday around the announcement that the first phase of the province’s re-opening plan has been moved forward, we have received confirmation that we can resume in-person services this Sunday!
We are required to have no more than 15% of our sanctuary capacity in attendance, but that still allows us to have about 75 people attend worship. I can’t even begin to express how much I’m looking forward to seeing you all again, hearing you praying and praising the Lord, and doing it all together in community!
All that being said, I do have to share that as much as I’m looking forward to your return, please ensure that you are returning only when and if it makes sense for you to do so! I want your return to be a joyful one for you as well, not one in which you are worried about your health or the health of others. If you need a bit more time before your return, do what is best for you and your situation. We understand and will be praying for your return when it is the proper time.
As we regather for worship, we will be implementing all of the cleaning, sanitizing and distancing measures that we had in place prior to the stay-at-home order. If you have questions, or would like more information, please call or email me.
Finally, thank you all for your patience and support during these difficult days … and thank you in advance for your attention to the response protocols listed above. Lets continue to do our part to ensure that there isn’t the need for another lockdown order.
Hope to see you all Sunday morning … or soon thereafter!
